Why are these the right sized feeders?The above photo shows the size of most hummingbirds. They are small.
These mini hummingbird feeders contain just the right amount of nectar so they can finish it before it goes stale and moldy. Even if you inadvertently leave a feeder out a long time and it gets moldy it will not have moldy nectar as it will be empty, thus no hummers will be harmed.
