Correctly Identified


One of our readers correctly identified the plant shown on the picture of the posting for Feb 3rd. The plant is the Mexican Flame Vine. This plant is common in South Texas and is a host for the yet unidentified butterfly or moth. We are still looking for the ID of this lovely caterpillar.
