Broad-tailed

This fabulous picture was taken by Candace Robinson from Colorado. Per Candace, pictured here is a Broad-tailed male, one of several breeds of hummers that show up in Colorado. They usually have two batches of babies, which translates to frenetic feeder activity. They make a very loud, distinctive "whirring" noise due to their tail formation. We appreciate Candace sharing this fabulous picture and we will have others from her later. Stay tuned. Wow!
