"Eat your greens."

Mommy says "Eat your green and grow big and beautiful." This Black Swallowtail caterpillar loves his greens. The video is not on fast forward, this is his actual pace.

Insecure

Perched atop a passion-vine leaf, this Gulf Fritillary caterpillar seems not to know what to do, or where to start eating.

How to Unpack your Chrysalis

When you receive your order, this is what you will see and how to unpack to allow your butterfly room to emerge. The box just serves the purpose of allowing you a way to watch the butterfly emerge. Once the wings dry please release your baby where there are flowers so it can eat nectar from those flowers.

Hummer & Bee Interactions

Please note that Hummingbirds and bees can interact. They work arround each other to access the feeder. I would recommend caution especially if you are allergic to bee stings. Otherwise, as long as your movements are slow you should be able to get close without being stung.
